Reddy, who hails from Palkonda in Palibatla Mandal of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District, was born to Jitta Devaiah and Payamma on 14 December 1972 at Bommaipally Village.
Previously, his academic history started with doing the Secondary School Certificate at Zilla Parishad High School in Bibinagar in 1987, and later, Intermediate Education, attended Government Junior College, Bhongir, where he completed this course by the following year. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from DVM Degree & PG College, LB Nagar, in 1993.

Governmental and Society Contributions
Reddy’s political career was deeply associated with the philosophy of social welfare, which he derived from the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. He founded the Vivekananda Yuvajana Sangham, a youth welfare society in Kothapet, Hyderabad, in 1992. Subsequently, he became a Founding President of the Ranga Reddy Zilla Yuvajana Sangham Samiti and later as Founder & State President in 2000. His leadership stretched beyond boundaries when he took over as the President of Yuvajana Sangham in North America (USA and Canada) in 2002.
Reddy entered politics by joining the Indian National Congress before transferring to the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and subsequently assassinating his party Yuva TelanganaATTERY_CODINGgetNameYuva Telangana PARTYminePARTY_STATEmentJuvenile_telengenaari. When he was defeated electorally in 2014, and again a year later, he folded his party into the BJP. Reddy joined Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in October 2023, indicating his return to political roots.
Awards and Recognition
Reddy has been decorated with many awards throughout his career for his remarkable service in the cause of social service and youth leadership. The Rangareddy District Level State Government honoured him with the Best Youth Award 1998. Hyderabad Junior Chambers presented him with the Social Service Award in 1999, while he received the National Best Youth Service award.

Jitta Balakrishna Reddy’s marriage was fixed with Sunitha, and the couple is blessed with two children: Vivekananda Reddy (Brother) & Jhansi. He has two siblings, Jitta Jyothi and one more brother named Radhesh, who lives in the USA. He was the son of Mr Jitta Balreddy, a retired teacher and Mrs.
DeathOn 6 September 2024, Reddy died at Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad due to complications arising from a brain infection. His death is an irreparable loss for his followers and Telangana politics. Jitta Balakrishna Reddy was a dedicated public servant and committed social reformer whose imprint on society will live forever.
